I wanted to send a note about the service I received at Appalachian HD.
1. Ed on the sales floor is the best.... He is the one guy I seek out when it comes to adding accessories to my bike... he is second to none and I trust Ed and his opinion... you have a great rep on the floor - I look for him every time I come in.
2. Joe Perry is AMAZING! I came in with an inner fairing question and he talked me through the purchase and didn't talk me into a purchase or do the high pressure sales. He knows his stuff and is someone I absolutely trust. He is the sole reason I get my work done at AHD! I really appreciate his honesty & his ability to make me feel like a AHD family member.
3. While waiting on a service I usually browse the clothing. There never has been a time I have not been approached by a sales rep asking if I needed help. It isn't a pressure sale but I feel they actually want to help. Today's experience was no less the same. The clothing staff makes you feel warmly welcomed and are there to help. I wish I caught her name but regardless... they all project the AHD family vibe.
4. Last and surely not least the techs who worked on my bike. Thank you!!! You are the guys behind the glass window who made me look good riding my bike. You guys have amazing skills and I appreciate your work.
It says a lot to turn over one's bike to you but it also says alot about the mech when the person gets it back in better condition. For that, I thank you.
5. To the person who detailed my bike, thanks! When I pulled up in the parking lot my friends wanted to see the work Appalachian HD did .... you put the finishing touches on great work....

"I have dealt with other Harley-Davidson Dealerships/Shops but Appalachian have been the best. I have had questions comments and concerns and the staff at Appalachian Harley-Davidson answered my questions and listened to my comments and concerns where others did not. I had issues with my new 2010 bike I told other dealerships about it and their comments were, "its a Harley". Appalachian took the bike into the service department and found that there was a problem and fixed it. I now get 10 MPG more in gas and have more power. For me, Appalachian is the best. I trust them 110 percent with my bike. The Staff in all areas have been professional and very helpful. Thanks Appalachian Harley-Davidson.

"My wife bought me a '09 Heritage from Don Rutledge and we were so happy with my bike and our experience and his knowledge, we came back and got my wife a '12 883L. That is two bikes in close to 4 months. These were our first Harley's and my 1st bike period. Don was VERY helpful to us with our choosing of our bikes. He took the time to explain our purchases as well as walked us thru every process up to us riding out the parking lot twice. We owe alot of happiness to his experience with us.. Thank You... "

"On a recent road trip with my father, his Harley quit charging, I contacted the dealer and asked if they could check the bike out and asked what time they closed. They said to bring it in and they would see what they could do, and that they closed at 7. We got there about 5:45, and found the stator needed replaced. Not only did they fix the bike to get us on the road, they stayed over on a Friday night to do it. Great bunch of people, Thanks so much."
